Outfit of the day

Hello everybody!

This is my first outfit post ever and I'm not sure yet if I like it or not. I just figured that I'd show you how I normally dress when I'm not lurking under a hood behind black sunglasses. :)

Top, H&M
Corset, Burleska
Skirt, Living Dead Souls

I like buying tops at H&M or second hand stores and then add some details to turn them more into my style. This one I have pimped with a lace bow and a silver skull. I know you probably cannot see it since it's too dark though.
Unfortunately in spring all of the mainstream fashion stores go crazy about pastels and light colors so I usually don't find too much of interest there this time of year. :P

Almost every time I wear a corset (and I wear it pretty often) people ask me if it is uncomfortable. And the answer is, no! A corset is not uncomfortable at all as long as you don't lace it too tight. Just try it out and see for yourself! :D

The past year and a half I haven't dressed that much in short skirts since I've been quite niched to those long, Victorian creations. I rediscovered my old love for short skirts this spring though and recently bought this one from Living Dead Souls. Yay! :D

To this outfit I also wore my faithful, high-heeled Diva Darcie boots from Dr. Marten. They didn't get to be in the picture since I couldn't find one pic where my feet area wasn't too dark.

Well, I guess that was all for this post! See you later! :D

  1. The beads on the skirt are a brilliant touch! You are so right; a well-fittng corset really can be quite comfortable. And I find steel boning to be more comfortable than plastic, because everything just stays where it's supposed to. :)

More outfit posts in the future, I hope? ;)

    1. I think so too! :) At first I didn't like the beads at all and considered removing them but I grew fond of them after a while.
Oh yes, steel boned corsets are the best! :)

Since this one was very fun to do I reckon there will be occasional outfit posts in the future as well. :)
