Scorpio

So, here comes the next look in the Zodiac series, Scorpio. To me Scorpio is a dark and mysterious sign and the color I associate with it is dark red. I figured that the makeup look that best would describe this Zodiac sign is a grey smokey eye with sharp, red eyeliner. :)

As eyeliner I have used the rusty, blood-red gel liner Poison by Makeup Geek. I like it a lot, even though it clogs my brush just as Fame did. Another drawback with it is that it doesn't show up as good if you use it on a darker background. I tried doing this look with a darker shade of grey but the red just "disappeared".

For the lips, a burgundy red suits the Scorpio ladies. :) To emphasize it I applied black in the corners of my lips.

Weekly confession: Perfumes

Thank all of you who participated in last weeks Weekly confession! :) I really enjoyed reading your confessions and some of them made me laugh.

This time it is about perfumes. A fragrance may smell heavenly good to one nose but completely awful to another. So, now it's time to confess; what fragrances are terrible vs. wonderful to you?

Personally, I love sweet and heavy perfumes. :) My favorite perfume right now is probably Vanillary by Lush. I LOVE it! :D

As for scents that I really hate the first thing that comes to mind is perfumes that smells of roses. *Urrgh!!* It may sound a bit strange; doesn't everyone love the smell of roses? Well, I don't. The smell of roses gives me headache! :(

Illamasqua Halloween Face Chart Look 6

Since I've been so obsessed about red eyeshadow lately I couldn't resist to recreate this look from Illamasquas Halloween look face-charts. It's definitely my type of look. :)

I was so inspired by this look that I had to recreate it right away. :) And here is the result! 

Unfortunately I haven't got all the Illamasqua products required for this look so I used some Sugarpill and Makeup Geek as well. :3

And what would a Halloween look be without a funny wig? :P

When I put this pic into greyscale I think it turned out very Morticia Addams-y. This is how I would've done the makeup for Morticia Addams. :3 Not red, of course, but grey and black.
