So, you're going to prom but your problem is that you are a vampire. Then, of course, you'll need a vampire makeup to take you through your special night. ;)
The tutorial pictures are a bit "washed out", so the black eyeshadow looks quite brown. I apologize for that, I didn't have the time to adjust the colors on all of the photos in PS. :(
I'm in love with this eyeshadow! It is Burlesque by Makeup Geek. I thought it would look similar to Sketch by M.A.C. but it doesn't. This one is more burgundy and less brown. And it has a slight shimmer. Love! :D
It has become a habit for me to fill in my brows with black now instead of brown.
Of course, this look wouldn't be a vampire prom look without a pair of blood-red lips. The lipstick I've used is Black orchid (which is a dark burgundy, and not black as the name suggests). And yeah, I know I don't look like I'm on my way to prom dressed in a regular black long-sleeve shirt. And I look like a purple version of Sonic the Hedgehog in that hairstyle. Haha.
So here's the tutorial! :D
Step 1. When you're a vampire, living forever is not a big deal. To make your eyeshadow last that long, however... Well, then you'll need a good primer! ;)
Step 2. I wanted a purple base for this look, to get a little more deep red feeling, but I didn't find an eyeliner pencil or something that would be suitable so I used Poison plum by Sugarpill as a base. You can simply skip this step, if you like. :)
Step 3. Apply Burlesque by Makeup Geek on your lid and blend it upwards into your crease.
Step 4. Define the outer corner by applying a black eyeshadow. I've used Corrupt by Makeup Geek. And yes, I know, it looks brown in these pictures.
Step 5. Fill in your upper and lower waterline with a black eyeliner pencil.
Step 6. Line your upper lashline with a black liquid eyeliner. Now, liquid eyeliner leaves no room for mistakes so be careful!
Step 7. Apply mascara and a pair of false eyelashes.
Step 8. Line your lips with a black pencil. Blend it slightly inwards. Apply a dark burgundy lipstick on your lips.

Beautiful, especially with your eye color!
SvaraRaderaThank you! ^^
RaderaThat is an awesome look :D
SvaraRaderaThanks! :D
RaderaYou're right, this does look like my prom look, but it's so gorgeous! Totally vampire!
SvaraRaderaIt does, doesn't it? :) Great minds think alike, I guess! ;D
RaderaThanks for your great tutorials. I've started to use a soft white eyeliner on the eyelid to make the colours more vibrant like you do, and it works!
