So, I'm back from a long period of blog hibernation. The situation has not changed though, so the posts will probably be as rare as ever.

I'm so very happy that I was able to do at least one post for Red & Black week this year. I've been looking forward to it since last year but due to the unforeseen circumstances mentioned in my previous post I haven't been able to prepare any posts or do any looks.

But the other day I got so inspired by the feelings that has been wrecking havoc in my heart for the past month, and so, this look was born. :)

New Hair

Today I got a new haircut. You've seen me in this hairstyle before, since I use clip-on bangs occasionally, but it is a little more special to actually have my hair cut like this. All I can say is that I love my new, Vulcan-style haircut. :D

Excuse the terrible picture quality. I snapped this shot with my phone camera when the sun was about to go down so I guess less than perfect quality is not anything unexpected.

Naked Goth (Not as naughty as it sounds)

Hey there! :D

After the third round of eye problems I feel better and can finally wear makeup again. I'm itching to start experimenting with different looks and bold colors again but today we had glossy-skin-nude-look theme day at work so I couldn't go too crazy this time. While I like the nude look on other people I hate to wear it myself. It makes me feel naked (which, I suppose, is the point...) and ugly and to be perfectly honest sometimes makes me feel a bit insecure. So I decided to combine it with a black lip, and voilá, the naked goth look.

If I don't feel to damn lazy tomorrow I will do a colorful, crazy look for you. Currently, I'm thinking about different colors to combine to get unusual but in the same time interesting looks. Any suggestions? :)

The Penguin Makeup Challenge Part 1: Black and White

Part one of the penguin makeup challenge will be my current everyday makeup look. It is a classic deathrock look with a thick batwing eyeliner. I love wearing this look because it is so me.

With the eyes open the liner looks just like a regular eyeliner...

...but when closing the eyes you can see the batwing! :D

Looking goth for work. I'm so happy that I can wear my piercings at my new job. In fact I can look however I want as long as I dress in black. Now that's my kind of dress code! :)

Good Hairday

Yesterday I had my hair cut by Jannike at 39 Clipp here in Gothenburg! It feels wonderful to be able to do a proper deathhawk again. :D

And here's a sneak peek of an upcoming look. ;)

By the way, I kind of love the mainstream fashion right now; you can find awesome things with spike studs, leather, lace and stuff like that in regular clothing stores. The hairclip from H&M is a great example of such items! :)
