Colors of Christmas

Now I have officially gotten started with the crazy Christmas looks. I am bursting with inspiration so I hope there will be a lot of looks coming up here in the upcoming couple of weeks. :)
Let's start with the first look!

Normally I hate wearing this kind of cut crease, with a light color on the lid surrounded by a darker. It makes my already large eyes look gigantic in a way that I just don't feel very comfortable with. Up close, though, I think it looks great.

Red, gold, green and white were obvious choices for this look since they are after all the typical Christmas colors. There should also be a frosty glow in the inner corner from Lumi by Sugarpill, but the camera didn't pick it up at all.

Red lips and Mr. Noire's hat (which melts into the background a little too good...). :)

MUG Weekly Challenge: Disney Princess

I've always been a fan of Disney movies (who hasn't?) and one of my two favorite movies from them is "Beauty and the Beast" (the other one is "Tangled"). Therefore, I decided to do a look inspired by Belle. :)

The pictures here are completely unedited (well, obviously I added my blog-adress...) and the photos are taken in darker surroundings than I usually do so that the glitter would be more visible. Hence the crappier quality.
Hope you like them anyway! :)

When you think about Belle one of the first things that comes to mind is probably her golden dress and big, brown eyes. That's where the inspiration for this look came from! :)

The red lips are inspired by the rose that the Beast has hidden in the attic (or wherever that secret room of his is located... :P ).

Midnight Sparkles

Hello makeup-lovers and fellow spooks! :)

This will be a post that is quite picture deprived. The reason for this is because my camera decided to commit suicide during my photo-session, before I had taken the full face pictures.

I recently found a wonderfully pretty glitter liner from the drugstore brand Viva la Diva that I immediately fell in love with. It's called Disco and is white with a thousand multicolored sparkles in it. So, so pretty!

I find it extremely hard to photograph glitter! (Tips anyone?). From this angle you can see how sparkly the Disco glitter really are, but the pictures don't make it justice! Honestly, if I ever get my thumb out of my ass and start recording video tutorials (as I have planned for over a year now -___-) I will have to do this look just to show you how beautiful this glitter is.

On the lid I've applied a purple glitter instead of a blue one, since I wanted the blue to appear even more dark and midnightish. :)
