A couple of days ago I went to the cinema to see the new Batman movie. I'm not very surprised that it was a fantastic movie but it was far better than I could have imagined! It's full of action and great characters that are portrayed by brilliant actors and actresses.
I've been looking forward to this movie a long time so I wanted to do a special makeup-look for this occasion. :) So I came up with a dark cat eye with a pattern, that is inspired by a look by this amazing makeup-artist: http://nireyna.livejournal.com/
Unfortunately, her blog is in Russian (I think...) which made it hard for me to find the specific look that I was inspired by.
To fade out the black smokey eye and add some subtle shimmer I used the grayish brown eyeshadow Moondust by Makeup Geek. It's a perfect background for the forestlike pattern. :)
To achieve the sharp wings I used Scotch tape, which I first placed on the back of my hand to reduce the stickiness.
I admit that the teal liner on the inner part of the lid wasn't the best idea, but I don't think it's super-horrible either. Next time, I'll definitely skip it though.
If you don't have the patience to draw this pattern then you can simply use this look without it as a regular winged smokey eye. :)

SvaraRaderaThank you! :D It's without doubt the best Batman-movie ever made. :) I can't decide whether I love Blake or Catwoman more. <3
RaderaAgreed!! Absolutely beautiful!! And I personally LOVE the teal that pops out! Really exquisite. :-)
SvaraRaderaThank you! :) I'm glad to hear, then it's probably not as big failure as I thought. ;D
