Lumene Raspberry Miracle Lip Sorbet

Long and strange name for a very simple product. Most of you have probably heard of Clinique's chubby sticks? No? Well, the chubby sticks are very moisturizing, sheer lipstick that looks like a big chubby pencil; hence the name. And Lumene's Raspberry Miracle Lip Sorbet is just the same. It is supposed to work as a lip pencil, lipstick, lipgloss and lip balm in the same time, which, I guess, is great if you like to make things simple for yourself.

Is this product as cool as it sounds then? In a way yes. It does give your lips some color, some shine and definitely moisturizes them better than any regular lipstick/gloss does. The major drawback is that it does not last as long as a lipstick. It definitely last a lot longer than a lipgloss though!
Another thing that I don't like is that it only comes in pretty feeble shades.

This is one of the most vibrant shades in which this product exists. Bright, raspberry red that I would consider a red lipstick for beginners, since it's very easy to pull off. Definitely a great shade for summer!

Well, what are your thoughts on all-in-one lip products like this one? Is it something you use? Why or why not?

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Lady Vader

If Darth Vader had a wife I believe she would wear her makeup like this:

She would have scary red and black eyes and dress herself in shiny latex. Haha!

Now, before you go and put on this makeup for a sweaty club night remember that it won't stay on like this. Petroleum jelly, lip gloss or whatever sheer, gunky stuff you use to get your lids shiny will make your eyeshadow crease, which, by the way also may look kind of cool, in a grungy sort of way.

Toxic Night

A couple of years ago I made a green and purple look with stars and called it Toxic Night. I really like the concept and the color combination so here is an improved version of the look. :)

The shape of the look is inspired by Kiki makeup's Harley Quinn look. Love it! :)

Poison plum by Sugarpill is probably my all time favorite eyeshadow. I love how opaque it gets when you pack it on on top of NYX's Milk.

This past week I have been working a lot. Not that I'm complaining; I love my job! But it will be nice to have a few days rest now, and I will use my free time to create some looks out of Makeup Geek's wonderful pigments. :) I really feel like creating colorful looks but also some dramatic but neutral ones.

Have a nice day and thank you for all the nice comments you've sent me these past weeks! I haven't had time to respond to all of your comments yet but I definitely will. :)
